Welcome back to another edition of Fresh Pressed Books, a weekly round-up of the newest releases brewing their way onto my ever-growing TBR.
Tuesday morning are my favorite part of the week, because that’s when new books are released. Every Tuesday, I wake up early, pour myself a big cup of coffee, and then get nice and cozy in my recliner to watch a few New Book Tuesday videos on TikTok from creators like The Dog-Eared Bookstore, Hayley_rxn, and Tina TBR etc.
After conducting my “research”, I then open the Libby and Hoopla apps (via the Los Angeles County Library system) in hopes of snagging an early loan or placing a hold. Then I peruse my other audiobook apps like Libro.FM, Everand, Audible, and Spotify to decide whether I’m ready to spend any credits I may still have..
It’s like a weekly shopping trip without actually leaving my apartment. And best of all? It’s super budget-friendly.
Without further ado, and In no particular order, here are the newest additions to my never-ending TBR.
New Books Releasing on March 3, 2026
One of my most anticipated reads of 2026 ever since I laid eyes on the cover. Yes, this Bookish Yes, this Bookish Nana is absolutely one of those people who chooses books based solely on the cover or title. This book had both.
Robyn Harding. What else is there to know?
Who doesn’t love books about books? An influencer is about to embark on a book tour to promote her self-help book, except her publicist just quit. Now she’s stuck with a new publicist who doesn’t seem to like her book.
A woman receives a copy of The Joy of Sex book and decides to go out and experience the joys of sex for herself. Plot twist? She’s married!
I’m not usually a fan of the cheating trope, but this one sounds deliciously messy.
Inspired by The Golden Girls? Immediately yes!

It’s giving Star Trek and all I can say is, “Beam me up, Scotty.”
Contemporary romance. Books on the cover. And a bookstore called The Painted Lady.

I’m a Gex X Nana, and Christina Applegate is an icon. A must-read for me.
Two words: Sentient plant.
Picture it… you inherit a motel in the tiny Texas town of Sarsaparilla Falls.
Except the Chickadee Motel isn’t exactly a motel.
It’s a brothel!
And the three working girls who live there? They’re all in their sixties.(I’m already cackling.)
Things get even messier when the local pastor is found poisoned in one of the beds, leaving behind a murder that needs solving.
If the Dolly Parton–inspired title and that adorable retro Barbie coloring book cover weren’t enough to hook me, the synopsis absolutely sealed the deal.

Instant chills!
The cover is giving modern-day Ariel & Prince Eric in the Kiss the Girl scene.
However, this grumpy-sunshine, forced proximity romance has absolutely nothing to do with that fairytale.
But it’s still the reason I want to read this book.
